President Muhammadu Buhari has affirmed that he is ready to do whatever it takes to secure Nigeria. He said this in a National Security Council meeting he presided over with a strong commitment.
Major General Babagana Monguno (retired), the National Security Adviser said that memos were also presented in relation to the current security challenges faced by Nigerians and Mr. President noted the issues raised and has given directive to developing strategies against the rising insecurity.
The meeting presided over by the president Muhammadu Buhari had in attendance the vice president, secretary to the government of the federation, ministers of interior and defence, service chiefs and the inspector general of police
