Federal Government of Nigeria has revealed it plans to disinfect schools nationwide.
The Minister of Environment, Muhammad Mahmood, made this known at the Presidential Task Force briefing on COVID-19 in Abuja.
He said the Federal Ministry of Environment would get the data of schools nationwide from the Federal Ministry of Education before commencing.
According to Daily Trust, the minister said the Ministry of Environment is liaising with the federal Ministry of Education to get the data of schools nationwide in order to carry out the exercise.
All school are still shut down due to the ongoing pandemic, and this is the right time to disinfect such environments.
