The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has handed the property forfeited by a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Allison-Madueke over to the Lagos State government to be converted to isolation centre.
The whole building had been forfeited to the Federal Government, following an order of a Federal High Court in Lagos in 2017.
The Zonal Head of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Lagos, Mohammed Rabo, during the handover ceremonies on the 15th May, said it is part of the duty of the organisation towards the fight against the spread of Covid-19.
The State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, appreciated the Commission for the gesture.
