COVID-19 patients at the isolation centre Kwadon in Yamaltu-Deba Local Government Area (LGA) of Gombe State, protested lack of proper care at their Isolation center earlier today May 5. The protesting patients forced their way out of their Isolation center, mingled with community people and obstructed the federal highway linking Gombe to Borno state.
One of the patients said ''they have all been using us for business''.
They said the Isolation center lacks drug and that they have to give the staff money to help them buy drugs.
According to NCDC, Gombe state has 96 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
